Privacy policy

We process personal data under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Nikah Deccan is the Data Fiduciary.

What we collect: name, gender, date of birth, native place, current location, religious belief, education, profession, family details, photos, phone, WhatsApp and email, payment references (we never see your card or UPI PIN), and messages you send.

Why: to show your biodata to members, to let you approve who sees your photos and contact details, to process payments, and to keep the service safe.

Who sees what: paid members see your biodata and blurred photos. Your real photos, phone, WhatsApp and email are shown only to members you approve, and you can take that access back at any time.

Your religious belief and photos are sensitive. You give consent by creating a profile, and you can withdraw consent by deleting your account in Settings, which permanently deletes your profile, photos and messages. Payment records are kept for [8] years as required by tax law.

Data is stored with our hosting providers (Supabase, Vercel) and payment processor (Razorpay). We do not sell your data.
